Shirin is an accomplished coloratura soprano. She learned to play the violin at the age of eleven. She began her studies with Ms. Aria Zand and Mrs. Ghasri in Iran and later in Austria with Prof. Rohangiz Yachmi. Shirin continued her studies under the supervision of Prof. Joanna Borowska in the University of Music and Dramatic Arts in Graz, where she obtained her master's degree in voice and Operatic style. In 2006, Shirin was granted a scholarship from AIMS “The American Institute of Musical Studies.” Shirin has a unique ability to sing high notes with a loud and crisp quality, making her an ideal voice to perform as Queen of the Night, Zerbinetta and Olympia. She sang and performed as zweite Jüngling in “Lazarus”, Mozart's“ Entführung”, Carl Orff's “Carmina Burana”, as Madame Herz in Mozart's “Der Schauspieldirektor”, and as the Queen of Night in Graz and Vienna. “First Cretan Woman” in Mozart's “Idomeneo”. Carmina Burana in the summerfestival in Kirchstetten and Mozart‘s „Idomeneo“ within the festival „Styriarte“ in summer 2008. Since 2008 performances with the „Three Iranian Sopranos in Austria, London and Vancouver.
