The “Three Iranian Sopranos” is  the new project of the  Persian Opera Singers Nasrin Asgari, Shirin Asgari and Kamelia Dara.

They were born in Iran  where they grew up and spent a lot of time together as  friends and singers. Because of the political situation it was not possible for them to get a good education as Opera Singer and to have the possibility to perform as Soloists. So the three young ladies decided to come to Austria to study at the University’s of Music in Vienna and Graz.

Nasrin and Shirin Asgari finished there studies with the Master of Art in May 2008. Kamelia Dara finished the first part of studies with Bachelor of Art.

During there studies the decided to create the Ensemble “The Three Iranian Sopranos”.

The repertoire of the ensemble goes from the big Arias of the Opera to the famous songs of operetta and Musical Genre

 until to the Persian Folksong Repertoire.

The three charming and great singers creates with there voices and there performance a wonderful bow from the Orient to the Occident.

 

 

 
Textfeld: The „Three Iranian Sopranos“ ist ein neues Projekt von den Persische Opernsängerinnen Nasrin Asgari , Shirin Asgari und Kamelia Dara. Die drei Sängerinnen wurden im Iran geboren und haben dort auch ihre Jugend gemeinsam verbracht. Bedingt durch die politische Lage im Iran war eine Weiterbildung als Opern Sängerin bzw. eine solistische künstlerische Betätigung nicht möglich. Die drei jungen Damen beschlossen daher nach Österreich nach Österreich zu kommen um hier an den Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien und Graz zu studieren. Nasrin Asgari und Shirin Asgari haben bereits ihr Studium mit einem "Master of Arts" im März 2008 abgeschlossen. Kamelia Dara hat den ersten Teil ihres Studiums mit einem Bakk. Art im Juni 2008 abgeschlossen. Durch die Ausbildung an der KUG war es den drei Frauen möglich die Gruppe "The Iranian Sopranos" zu bilden. Das Repertoire des Ensembles reicht von großen Arien der Opernliteratur über bekannte Melodien aus dem Operetten und Musical Genre bis hin zum Persischen Liedgut. Die drei großartigen und bezaubernden Sängerinnen schaffen mit ihren Stimmen und mit ihrer Performance einen wunderbaren Bogen vom Orient zum Okzident.
